Pick a few props for your candlelight evening in Tuscany-seek out handmade candles,

a rustic clay water jug, a hand painted serving platter. A few authentic touches like these will create the look and feel of Tuscany. Or, simply use a selection of special items-from fabrics to vases- from around your house and give them new life around your table.

In Tuscany, cooking-as well as eating-is a feast for the senses. When Tuscans cook,

for example, they pay attention to aromas. So when you're in your own kitchen, take a moment to breathe the aroma of each of the ingredients in your dish, like the pungent scent of basil, the rich earthy scent of sage or the hearty, sweet smell of oregano.

With a little imagination, you can enhance your evening. Here's what we suggest:

Arrange a decorative bowl of seasonal verdures (vegetables) on the table.

Set the mood with music-check your local music store's International section.

Serve fresh Italian Mascarpone cheese with strawberries for a delightful dessert.

Share a bottle of delicious Bella Sera Pinot Grigio.
